After a lot of investigating and comparing, the place of CM on the World XI goes to Luka Modric. The Croation midfielder for Los Blancos is the most well-rounded player at an elite level I have seen as of yet.
His incredible pinpoint accuracy in his shots, crosses and passes makes him an incredible asset to have on the World XI.
Honourable mentions:
- Toni Kroos is much the same as Luka as he has even better accuracy in his passing, shooting and crossing, however, does not tackle as well as Luka, he is not as fast and Luka has an indescribable vision that lets him manoeuvre the game as he wishes.

I have to agree, Tony Kroos is more mechanical, while Luka Modric is a lot more fluid in his game.
