The frustrating thing is the public gets spoon fed this info and people eat it up without being objective what so ever
I feel the same way. This is a US warship. If it is bumbling around the oceans like a blind person, it needs to get a white cane and hold it up so it doesn't get run over. That's why they invented radar, so you can see the other ships out there. The navy should spring for one of those. It beats guessing where the enemy ships are.
There is something being withheld or a coverup. The guy at the helm was drunk or something.

I'm no expert on marine navigation, but what else are you suggesting happened?
It's just hard to believe that a highly sophisticated US Navy warship some how accidentally collided with a simple cargo ship. Something isn't adding up.
