Philippine authorities are ready to forcibly evacuate to its citizens who refuse to leave the danger zone due to the eruption of Mount Mayon.

Mount Mayon began to release hot lava, solid material and also hot clouds since ten days ago, causing more than 75,000 residents to flee.

But many residents later left the refugee camps to their homes to care for abandoned cattle. Although there are no reports of casualties, the dangerous zone has been expanded to a radius of 9 kilometers from the crater of the mountain.

The shelter center manager, Maria Evelyn Grollo, says there are more than 4,000 people on the outskirts of Legazpi, who continue to oppose evacuation orders to stay away from lower slopes
