It use to be that you could ask yourself 'am i being watched?' now, the question doesn't even pose itself.
You, we, I are being watched. It's not paranoia, it's just the world we live in in this day and age.
China, for example, has installed 20 MILLION AI cameras that track who you are and where you're going. They estimate that in 5 to 10 years there will be 1 camera for every 2 Chinese person... that a LOT of cameras.
These cameras do have the advantage of keeping us 'safe', by allowing governments to track potential criminals and terrorists. But is it worth it?
Does safety make this worth it?
So, would you prefer living in a slightly more unsafe world, but with total freedom of movement and identity? Or do you feel this is justified and let's just get with the program

Freaky! I definitely wonder how many of my FaceTime calls are being scanned - or even me being watched from my mac camera as I type this reply. Have to even wonder about the tiny details - what about kids toys that are now connected? We just received a bluetooth tickle-me-elmo... I'm sure it's not on the top of anyone's list to hack that, but does make you think!
