Asus is expected to release Zenfone 5 in the 2018 Mobile World Congress (MWC) on February 27 in Barcelona, Spain.
Counting the days approaching the launch date, Zenfone 5 leaks are circulating on the Internet. The device in the picture is called has the model number "X00PD". When linked with Geekbench leaks last week, then the phone is probably a Zenfone 5 Max variant.
From the picture it appears that Zenfone 5 Max has a similar look of iPhone X, especially from dual camera and LED flash are arranged in vertical orientation at the back. On the back of the device there is also a round fingerprint scanner and Asus logo.
The screen looks elongated so it is thought to have an 18: 9 aspect ratio. In addition to Zenfone 5 Max, allegedly other models in the smartphone family Zenfone 5 will also adopt the screen with the aspect ratio of the present.
Interestingly, if other phones have started switching on USB type C, Asus Zenfone 5 Max seems still loyal to the MicroUSB port. Meanwhile, the option of dual SIM or micro-SD memory card is invisible.
Leak Geekbench previously mentioned that Asus "X00PD" aka Zenfone 5 Max which is a low-end model will be powered kitchen runway Snapdragon 430, combined 3 GB RAM and operating system Android 8.0 Oreo.
There has been no leak how much the price of this device in the market. Because, Asus has not officially announced the Zenfone 5 family. We just wait for the announcement from MWC 2018 event later.
