Seems like a more accurate title would be "virginia introduces law to stop 12-15 year old girls from getting married", since that's the actual change that was made (must be 16 or older now, apparently).

This law will likely fail in Virginia just as it did in California. Teenage marriage is ingrained in the American culture, especially the Southern American part of it. I say that so long as teenage marriages are voluntary rather than forced, then the government should leave well enough alone and maintain the status quo.
