Generally agree, but one still needs to take care even with these alternative sources of news and information. Many turn out over time to be "controlled opposition" who will put out a good deal or some truth, but then mix in some lies, enough to steer one off the path. It's always important to weigh multiple sources, and you will still need to weed out things by yourself. Another tactic employed by such "controlled opposition" is give you truth on a few topics, and then once one is confident in this source of information for a few topics, then they deceive by steering false information in other areas.
