Samsung will announce the Galaxy S9 in o couple of weeks at Mobile World Congress on February 25th, and Evan Blass on Twitter is showing us the latest leaks, which give us the best look at the phone yet. So far, the images show the new Lilac Purple color, also a change in one of the major flaws of the S8, that is, the fingerprint reader is now placed below the camera sensor, making it easier to access and easier to recognize with your fingertip, compared to the S8.
Also, in the new pictures we can see the two-camera module that the larger S9 Plus will have, which looks to be a vertically oriented module similar to the iPhone X . Samsung’s teased us, highlighting that the devices would offer improvements to the camera, but we’ll have to wait and see what they’ve got up their sleeve beyond the usual annual upgrades.
The S9 will launch in four colors: Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Titanium Gray, and Coral Blue, although its unclear if all four of those colors will be available in all regions.
