Unfortunate. But I believe this opens up a nice gap for competitors. However, from a business point of view, Piracy has been cutting into their market (though not as much as claimed) so perhaps a more regulated Internet is in their best interest?

It is certainly in their best interests right now. They would be able to get the deals that would make it worth it. I think in the long run it will cause trouble and stagnation.
I do not disagree. On Steemit, we are creating a business platform. Therefore, I am truly for Net neutrality. Regulation can be advantageous for the protection of others, but regulation must NEVER infringe on rights of individuals.
