Pictures, made by chimpanzee of pop musician Michael Jackson, are sold at a charity auction in Miami for $ 750 each. As reported by The Sun, the money from the sale will go to fund a center for primates in Florida.

The director of the gallery said that all five works of the monkey named Bubbles show an individual style.

In total, 50 paintings made by monkeys were presented at the auction. The cost of works ranged from $ 400 to 2 thousand. According to the organizers of the event, only for the first hour of the auction sold more than ten paintings.

Note that Michael Jackson bought Bubbles in 1983. The chimpanzee regularly accompanied the musician on tour, lived on the Neverland ranch and slept with Jackson in one room. In 2003, after the birth of his son, the singer had to part with the pet because of fears that the animal could injure the child.
Since 2004, Bubbles lives in the center for primates in Florida.
