holy man, that is amazing... or maybe better said not amazing, but a very rewarding, just, and tech savvy outcome. it is very reassuring that long-time steemians can have a bit of reassurance if something happens out of the blue there are paths of recourse. this is no excuse to make careless errors, but for noobs like me that can't explain the difference between a hack and a chicken shack, it's nice to know there are real people on the other side of the system to lend a hand. peace and gl

100% agreed. Really comforting to know there is a human element to the mechanics behind this platform. People may argue this means it is not decentralised, but from where I am standing it seems like a perfect system!

If one is unable to prove identity to a computer, there simply must be a human decision which follows this.

And had I not made the effort to reach out to so many people, I suspect the outcome would have been different.
