RE: Did Steemit really ā€œget a new bossā€?

in #news ā€¢ 6 years ago

Since I heard about the Samsung rumor, somehow everything that happens seems to be a proof for it šŸ˜†

My question is, what does an "executive chairman" (Ned) even do? Does he still have a say? And who's "the board"?

Change is good. Ned not being (the only one) in charge, is also good.

This is whatā€™s being discussed quite a bit. Is there really a difference between CEO or executive chairman when it comes to calling all the shots? Iā€™m wondering who ā€œthe boardā€ is also. If Nedā€™s still calling all the shots, I donā€™t expect much to change.

It's interesting that Eli shared what her job will be - at least in one sentence - but nobody said what Ned will do from now on. I'm even more interested in who (really truly) appointed her.
On the other hand, at Steemfest he sounded like he's more interested in his Destiny than in Steemit, so this could actually be a perfect solution for all parties involved, including the community. He gets to focus on what he wants, but the Steemit roadmap won't be forgotten.
