As someone who has followed the Shkreli case closely I would like to add this. I think it is "good" that we have this case, because it serves a good purpose. Shkreli is just one CEO of many other Pharmaceutical companies that do this shit on a regular basis. The price increase he pushed is shocking - but not unheard of in Big Pharma, in fact it is done on a regular basis by other companies. It just so happens, that the media picked up his case and made it go mainstream. And that's good - it raises attention to how broken the system is and makes people talk about the way these companies operate. He is just one man who exploited the system, in an "acceptable" way set by the definitions of or corrupt system. We need to change the system.
