A Syrian family who have lived in the US for more than twenty years, and who voted for and supported Trump, got a rude awakening today when members of their family were deported under the new Anti-Muslim law.
All I can say is, be careful what you wish for. He's doing exactly what he said he would do while he was running for president, so what's the problem? Well, the problem is that everyone thinks they're exempt, or special, when this sort of thing happens. "Hate as much as you like, as long as it doesn't affect me." That's an attitude that has never served anyone well. It has to be equality for all or equality for none; you can't pick and choose.

good lord im not livin in the usa ;)
Don't have much pity for fools who voted for Drumpf.
you voted Killary?
They need to do this to illegal immigrants, not because of someone's religion. As effective as this law is, it needs some tweaking.
I agree, it should only be used on illegal immigrants, illegal being the operative word. Having a blanket law that targets not only Muslims but people from majority-Muslim countries, just isn't the way to go.
It's not going to be effective - the net it casts is too wide. It also ignores countries like Saudi Arabia and Egypt, which are known to produce terrorists: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/jan/30/saudi-arabia-egypt-excluded-from-trumps-ban
Why should Saudi Arabia and Egypt be excluded; after all, they're the ones whose terrorists who blew up the twin towers originated from. Makes no sense when you think about it.
Only if one considers the ulterior motive for NOT including these countries. Coughs money.
