Oh wonderful. I spend inordinate amounts of time writing fiction. My fiction oftentimes explores the boundaries of what some *respectable people would call "good taste". I prefer to think of this as using art as a means of expressing the human condition in all of its beauty, ugliness, torment, joy, confusion, etc. In my stories, I also enjoy playing with narrative techniques that blur the line between fiction and reality because (imagine this!) artistic expression is about creating new ideas, new thought experiments, new ways of viewing the world and situations around you (yeah, fucking novel concept, i know!).
So, by some bullshit sweep-em-all-up sort of tactic, I guess I could easily be viewed as a threat, especially to those who are used to reading on a 4th grade level, who are not critical thinkers, or perhaps those who just don't appreciate going into uncomfortable spaces of thought and idea exploration. Excellent, good to know.
