Applying Occam’s Razor to Trump’s Razor in the Stormy Daniels saga is fun. But, it's also slightly scary in the fact that it might actually exonerate Donald Trump………
The crux of the story is that shortly before the 2016 election, via a newly created LLC and without Donald Trump’s knowledge, Michael Cohen entered into a Non-Disclosure Agreement which paid Stormy Daniels $130K in exchange for her silence. The money was paid from Michael Cohen’s personal funds and Donald Trump never reimbursed him for that expenditure.
1: If the NDA was longer than one side of A4 paper and contained neither charts nor liberal sprinklings of Donald Trump’s name, then even if Michael Cohen had sent him a copy of the agreement, the chances that Donald Trump would actually read it are somewhere close to zero…… Not Guilty of Conspiracy?
2: Michael Cohen paid $130K from his own funds and Donald Trump never reimbursed him. Well, when not sleeping with females he's not married to and filing Chapter 11’s, the other thing Donald Trump is famous for is failing to pay his workers and contractors…… Not Guilty of violating Campaign Finance Rules?
So, if we are to believe that an altruistic lawyer took out a $130K loan against his house in order to pay-off a porn star who’d been boned by his client, a billionaire property tycoon who has literally craped in a gold plated toilet every day of his life, then Donald Trump’s prior behavior could possibly be his strongest defense.
Oh, what interesting times we enjoy.
it is truly an extraordinary time
What a loser.
Enjoyed the video. It'd be nice to also see some promotion of Steemit or dTube, while also leveraging Reddit, Brilliant, and Youtube, since it's titled here with a dTube feel to it.
@davidpakman LOL. The guys who have to defend Trump & Co. must be drinking a lot before making appearances. Kudos to all of them for spreading this much fake news and turning the presidency into a reality TV show!
It was mentioned elsewhere before but who came up with that figure of 130000. Why not $100k or $200k? I mean according to the 60 minutes interview Stormy Daniels did not negotiate so it doesn't look like this is the result of something along "we met somewhere between two figures". Maybe that was the amount Cohen got in a short time before the election? Of course it would be a more believable amount just in case it would surface to the public as it did. But wouldn't Cohen at least hoped that we will never hear about that deal?
My guess is that Cohen believed he will get the money back from Trump but he was thrown under the bus which would make his story partially true but for sure not according to his plans. Now he's trying to get the best out of it but of course that's most probably a lost case anyway.
