Amen to that. Hypernormalization is sadly a worldwide thing, but with Trump is reaching a whole new level. It doesn't really matter that the guy has a "fame" or is a "playboy", as long as he's sitting in that office being the official image of the United States of America.
What's even more tragic is that every time something like this has happened before, there's always been someone who tried defending the undefendable by saying "ignore his\her private life, look at what he\she is doing, look at the politics". With Trump you can't even do that.
