Texas seems to be trending more moderate, but count me in the "need to see it before I believe it" crowd when it comes to the Lone Star state.

As a Texan, I can say I fully endorse anyone who will challenge Cruz. He has no spine. Trump insulted him so much during 2016 and the inability of Cruz to stand up and defend his own character and family reflect poorly in my opinion. Texas deserves strong leadership and Ted Cruz is not able to deliver.

During the STATE OF THE UNION the Democrats displayed a level of Partisan Politics that we haven't seen since the Democrats started the Civil War. Clearly they do not stand for America. Democrats refused to comply with anti-slavery and we had to fight a bloody war to get them back in line with America. Democrats refused to comply with Civil Rights in the South until the 1960's when the National Guard had to go into Schools and force the Democrats to comply with Civil Rights. Now Democrats refuse to obey our Immigration Laws. Which if history is any example, will not end until blood is spilled.
During the STATE OF THE UNION the Black Caucus refused to applaud or stand when the President announced the LOWEST AFRICAN AMERICAN UNEMPLOYMENT IN HISTORY. Shows their true colors, they don't give a rats ass about "Black" people. Partisan Politics and Power is all they care about.
So I ask, How on earth can anyone vote Democrat.
Total non-sequitur, but just to challenge one point, you do realize that "Dems were for slavery" is a ridiculous talking point since there was a party realignment since then and "Democrat" today has no connection whatsoever to the "Democrats" of the civil war era?

I am a Texan. I was BORN in Texas. I am an elderly white man that will be Thrilled to see the lying "Texas want to be" Ted Cruz, defeated. It's the evangelicals down here that is keeping us from going blue. I am embarrassed that we Texans can't do better than Louie Gohmert and Ted Cruz.
