Give yourself a taste and prepare a rich cauliflower ceviche (+ recipe)

Did you know that when eating cauliflower you get vitamin K, since it has anti-inflammatory properties that improve your blood circulation. Thus, it prevents the accumulation of lipids in the blood, something that could lead to cardiovascular problems such as atherosclerosis. The sulforaphane that contains cauliflower is of great help when what you want is to improve blood pressure levels.

Due to its high content of vitamin C and antioxidants, it can be effective in reducing the risk of macular degeneration that is typical of the age that in certain cases causes blindness.

Ingredients:

1 piece of cauliflower cut into small pieces
1 cup of watermelon cut into small cubes
2 cups of jicama cut into small cubes
2 pieces of finely chopped serrano pepper
1 piece of cucumber cut into small cubes
1 cup pineapple cut into cubes
3 tablespoons finely chopped coriander
6 pieces of lemon juice only
3 tablespoons olive oil
to the taste of salt and pepper

preparation:

Blanch the cauliflower in boiling salted water until smooth. Go through cold water to cut the cooking and drain.

In a bowl place cauliflower, watermelon, jicama, serrano pepper, cucumber, pineapple, cilantro, add lemon juice, olive oil, season, refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Enjoy with some toast.

Tips

If it's a season, you can substitute pineapple for mango.
