After a few months of intensive development, the team behind Spectrocoin / Bankera finally released the BNK ERC223 smart contract.
What does it mean, actually? Well, if you had BNK tokens in your Spectrocoin wallet (by participating in the pre-sale or ICO) you can now withdraw them in any Ethereum ERC20 / ERC223 compatible wallet.
One of the most important characteristic of BNK is that any BNK holder is entitled to a slice representing 20% of all the commissions made by Spectrocoin / Bankera - according to their portfolio size, obviously. It's like permanentaly staking your coins, wile still being able to use them, but instead of getting money printed out of thin air, you get an actual amount of money, generated by people using Bankera services.
Now here comes the interesting part, the one that makes BNK quite unique in the crypto universe: you can get that 20% allocation even if you keep your tokens in a wallet outside Bankera. The allocation is managed by the smart contract, each week, but you have to claim that revenue. If you keep you BNK in the Spectrocoin wallet, the remittance is done automatically and it's paid, as until now, in your ETH wallet.
Please keep in mind that this doesn't mean you can trade BNK in an exchange. The first exchange listing is expected to come in early June, on HitBTC. Soon after that, Bankera's own exchange will go live as well. Of course, you can trade BNK in a peer-to-peer transaction, but since the whole ecosystem is so fresh, that wouldn't seem like a smart choice now.

This is nice, i think we can expect something similar to happen with Appics.. since alot of people have gotten the token either through ICO or their bounty program and are just waiting for it to be listed so they can trade
