RE: Russia Blamed For Anti-GMO Media and Pushing American Gun Rights

in #news7 years ago (edited)

Shocking. Being anti-GMO is a bad thing now? If anything, it's a subject riddled in subjectivity, excepting of course the issue of Monsanto - I think even the most staunch supporters of GMO would say it's a spawn of the devil, to put it ''lightly''. I know that blaming Russia has become the norm these days, I know this as I am myself theorizing about mainstream media and the demonization campaign against Russia, but GMO? Really?

In Europe and Russia; this has drifted away from mainstream debate and the EU as a whole has the most stringent regulations regarding the issue.

Monsanto is being pushed farther and farther away from Russia's borders with many countries following suit; the Glyphosate controversy is all that is really needed to be said but to blame an entire country on the basis of quantitative data collection with mentions of a specific term, GMO in this case, being the filter for propaganda is quite desperate.
