Great point. I feel as though Dan would do well to put a few minutes into managing his Steemit account now and then. He doesn't foster feedback, can't hear constructive criticism, won't take requests for topics to cover, never got back to my emails when I had an inside scoop on the legalization scam over a year ago, etc etc.
I get that he puts most of his time into making and editing the videos, which are often excellent. But it's like you said, Steemit is more than just posting, it's definitely about commenting, replying, and curation as well. If you're only doing part of it you're missing opportunities, and Steemit is already full of people who are merely copypasting content from elsewhere and trying to make a satoshi off it. We need community role models that take Steem seriously and not just as a side project, and something to name-drop for extra upvotes from the diehards.
