and I don't think anyone should find any of this at all surprising. I know that I certainly don't. Unfortunately, we live in a time where the news is all about making money and in a world where everything is free on the internet, so it seems, people have to get more and more creative to get those clicks.
I honestly don't have much of an opinion about what Trump says or does, I can see fault and benefit in almost anything that he talks about. What I don't like is the very one-sided and predictable nature of almost all media out there and when you have an aggregate site like Yahoo News which is very well known for being severely left-leaning in their bias, of course the stories are hand picked going in just one direction.

I don't think many people look to Yahoo for anything these days but I think there are a lot of people that go there for an easily arranged list of stories that are going to back up their hatred for Trump since that is basically all that is featured there. Sometimes they will post something by Fox or Breitbart but only crap articles that don't really have anything to do with the other articles that are attacking conservatives. You don't need to read any of these articles once you get to know the source because for me anyway, all I have to do is see who the article is by and the headline and I already know exactly what conclusion they are going to come to.

Take this article for example. I haven't read it yet but since it is "The Daily Beast" I am going to go ahead and presume that Rubio didn't actually "melt down" - which is a phrase used so commonly by all media that it has lost all meaning - but instead was facing a hostile interviewer in George Stephanopoulos and was struggling to get a word in.... If that is "melting down" well then I guess every single liberal that has ever went on Fox News also melted down. It's just stupid.
Their "meltdown" is probably referring to him refusing to answer a stupid question which was "what concessions American expected Russia to make"
“Why would I say that on the news broadcast? That’s what negotiations are about. That’s the problem here. Again, this is not a messaging exercise, okay? This is ‘can they get to a table?"
Is that really melting down? or is that someone that is simply dealing with someone in the press that is well-known for being hostile towards people that are conservative? You be the judge I guess. The article in question is right here

Here's another one from Reuters, who used to be a middle-of-the-road publication but is left-leaning for years now. Notice how the tone of the headline and explanation are devoid of words meant to get a rise out of you? That's because they are referring to comments made by a Senator that has a "D" next to his name.
When you actually read the article you will see that the statements made by this senator are more unhinged than Rubio's were in the previous article. Hell, they don't even mention his party affiliation to give people who are doing a headline drive-by the impression that this isn't just partisan politics, which it is.
Blumenthal is suggesting that the documents that clearly and are well-known to state that this proposal to purchase armored electric vehicles from Tesla, were made during the Biden administration but now since that information got to the public, they are pivoting to attempt to suggest that the Trump administration backdated the documents, even though they couldn't possibly have done so since it is a matter public record dating back to mid 2024.
They also love to point out that "Tesla did not immediately respond to questions." Why would they respond to this nonsense?
I expect this from Yahoo as they were left behind as far as relevancy is concerned decades ago. It is disappointing to see them continue to do the same things over and over again though, virtually ensuring the demise of the company as a whole. The comments section on their site is filled with fun though because almost everyone in the comments is woefully misguided and it is evident that they likely only get their current events from Yahoo and probably other echo chambers just like it. I mean, why else would anyone sign up for an account to comment on friggin Yahoo?

The most disappointing news mixed in with the obviously partisan collection of articles is something that will probably make fatties truly upset though, and that is that some fast food restaurants are not going to have unlimited deep-fried garbage anymore. Such a pity.
If you are reading any sort of MSM on a regular basis, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere or perhaps at one of the few websites in existence that intentionally gives you articles about the same topic from both sides of the political fence such as allsides.com. Read both sides of the story and make an educated decision on your own. You'll probably still be misinformed but at least it wont be in one direction.

I watch these things, these SOTU and such. I like to see with my own eyes who does what, and when. The craziness is on full, televised, display. A reverse hunger games in a way, more layered, where we peons get played like boomerangs. What are we supposed to see tonight? Of course the left is still thinking the best course of action is to not give Trump the clicks by watching, so they know only what their media tells them. Not that the right is any better informed. Trump will give us all plenty of clickbait tonight, no doubt. It's so freaking bizarre right now!
