Consider Agent Orange winded up to be having an assorted set of harmful side effects, I don't see how another herbicide would just be magically safe.

I am fairly sure there is a genuinely malicious intent behind these groups - their activity cannot really be explained in another way to me.
For money. At all cost. Even a sick person is an economic opportunity.
We cannot knowingly sicken and kill (even for power/money) - without maliciousness being involved.
