President Trump was up early for this morning’s Tweet Storm, and one of them caught our eye, not just for his tying a current event (the Olympics) to a justification of a previous statement, thus, in his mind, proving himself right and others wrong, but in the way he expressed his seeming pleasure in doing so - with emojis.

It has long been observed that fans of the self proclaimed “Twitter King” have favored emojis far more than the followers of other politicians and celebrities, but Trump himself typically has eschewed the use of them so far. Some have taken this as an indication that Trump is finally feeling more comfortable in his role as “the most powerful man in the world”.
When this explanation was suggested to CNN’s newest host, Van Jones, his only reply was a deep and obvious shudder.
