Disappointed Dan doesn't know the mechanics of how the government of his country operates. The GOVERNOR GENERAL is known as the Queen's Representative. Also, provincially there are Lieutenant Governors who perform the same function in those jurisdictions. As far as I know Canada doesn't even have a Surgeon General, so he should do a little homework. Both the Governor General and Lieutenants Governor are basically ceremonial positions. Those interested can research both topics on their own.
Also, I read C-16 is only going to affect Federal jurisdictions. I'm sure more of the statutes will come out as it is put into effect, or even enforced. I suspect it will make it's way to the Supreme Court of Canada to be challenged sooner rather than later. Not sure how the apathy of the average Canadian will be affected by this lunacy.
Dan's grip on cryptocurrencies is also disappointing. Free markets are places where anyone can join. ALL WELCOME. Do we drop gold and silver completely because the Queen owns some and is invested? Why is this crazy logic applied to the free markets of cryptocurrencies where there is zero force on anyone.
I never made it that far. Pulled the plug when all the bumbling about the Governor General started. The interview lost cred for me at that point.
