A friendly reminder to fellow Steemians, this Sunday is Daylight Savings time. And it’s the 100-year anniversary. The practice started in 1918 (along with the establishment of time zones) as part of the Standard Time Act. Read more about that on the DOT’s website.
If you think anything like me, then you probably agree we’re celebrating a century of insanity, as changing the time doesn’t seem to accomplish much beside make everyone late for meetings on Monday morning. Well, that and make me salty. It’s finally getting light out when I wake up, and on Sunday that will be ripped away from me.
