US President Trump's decision to bring additional tax on steel and aluminum imports came from China. Chinese Foreign Minister Zhang said, "If the interests of China are damaged, we will not sit and watch."
"WE CAN NOT MONITOR THE LOOK TO THE LOSS"
Chinese Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui said they did not want a trade war with the US but would respond if China's interests were harmed.
"China does not want to have a trade war with the US, but of course, if China's interests are damaged, we will not sit down and watch," Zhang said at the annual meeting of the Chinese Parliament.
"YOU WILL BE THE RESULTS YOU WANT TO SEE"
Zhang, formerly the US ambassador to the country, said they are in favor of mutual negotiations in trade, saying, "If decisions are taken according to wrongful reasoning, they harm these bilateral relations and create consequences that no country would want to see."
