Marvel movie, Black Panther, did have a tremendous impact after it was released some time ago. Lots of people who watch the movie because it is considered to have elements of culture.
To the extent that a teacher from grade 6 in the United States made a curriculum about Black Panther and Wakanda in his school.
The teacher was named Tess Raser, who shared her Wakanda lesson curriculum on Twitter. He has plans to teach his students there about the movie.
The curriculum has two parts intended to teach students about colonialism in Africa and racism in the United States.
Of course, the students will watch the Black Panther movie as part of the lessons given by Tess.
The topics to be covered in the curriculum made by Tess include the revolution of blacks, feminism among blacks and also the legend of colonialism that can be felt through the Black Panther film.
"After watching Black Panther, I started thinking how the students could analyze the film as a literature," Tess said.
"It is a good way for them to make connections to society and also prepare them as makers of change," he said further.
Tess confessed that she wanted to teach black children to study media and literature.
"I work hard to encourage black students to know the African continent, its diversity and its connections to us," he said further.
