Boy oh boy, Megyn Kelly has really been pissing off various news syndications, ever since the time she decided to move on from FOX TV news (especially after the Roger Ailes sexual harassment situation), she eventually landed a new spot on the NBC news.
Given the circumstances involving MUCH controversy which seems to blow up at the wrong place and time, Kelly has been accused herself of causing discord and dissention in terms of conditions leaning towards her career advancing into a more prominent news anchor role (and higher demand in pay) that would level the playing ground to that of the male anchors employed at FOX. This started to rub Fox Executives the wrong way, and would create a MORE difficult time for her at the news station itself.
After leaving FOX, and jumping onboard at NBC, she pissed off yet another already prominent news headliner, Tamron Hall. Because NBC decided on placing Kelly in Hall's show slot, this would basically push Hall to a later time slot during the day, and THAT WAS NOT GOING TO SIT WELL WITH HALL ONE BIT.
Hall decided to pack her bags, and kissed NBC good-bye as she now decides to seek employment elsewhere.
Meanwhile things haven't went all too well for Kelly at NBC thus far, and she put a HUGE big fat spotlight on NBC, after having a few interviews starting with Vladimir Putin, and he basically embarrasses her in the interview (due to projected questions she'd thought would down play his image as a leader). Then she brought on Alex Jones from Infowars, and although Jones is well-known, NBC was NOT all-onboard for having him in an TV interview spot on their syndicated program.
This again blows up in her face, and pisses off NBC Executives, as they now start to question her better judgement as she moves into a more control-level position to call the shots in terms of booking guests, and NOT blasting out awkward comments to guests such as Jane Fonda, about her decisions to have plastic surgery work done to herself. Or what the awkward moment with super fan Russell Turner, and she indirectly tags an open remark of Turner's decision to come out as being gay, as she spins that remark off of the character Will played by Eric McCormack, and doing so once again puts a HUGE spotlight on herself and her better judgement of given comments.
Actress Debra Messing is NOT even thinking to re-appear on the Today Show, if Kelly's the host (due to the embarrassing remark demonstrated by Kelly.)
Deteriorating ratings have become a problem as well for NBC as well, a portion of the blame is thrown in the direction of their new choice hired star Megyn Kelly. Some wonder whether or not if NBC is looking to sever ties with Kelly, and that will be ultimately be determined based on her performance as she moves through the time length of her contract with them. She's banking a whooping 17 mill annually, and NBC has to be thinking she maybe NOT worth all of that weight in gold LOL (Tamron knows that to be true as she was making a whooping 3¼ times less than Megyn).
NBC is starting to realize some of the headaches FOX had to put up with Kelly's time there, she DEFINITELY gave them much flack about the pay raise, and basically demanded that she should get paid as much as Bill O'Reilly, which put them in a VERY compromising position, and it was probably at the point of just replacing her with another anchor altogether -- thus enter Tucker Carlson.
So as of now it's just a matter of time she'll make another crucial mistake on the shows she appears on -- "The Today Show", and the "Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly" show, which could potential tank the network's rating even further than they already are.
Don't misunderstand, Megyn Kelly DEFINITELY has great talent, it just the direction she chooses to implicate towards the NBC program shows she did at FOX,are two different news genres that obviously clash in comparison, and fans are letting it be known by "tuning out" from watching as the end result. Hopefully she realizes the adjustments she can make, to WOW over longtime fans of these popular show brands very soon.
Frankly, I couldn't care less what happens to her career. She deserves to lose everything for being such a lying tool for TPTB.
