In this video, I do another quick Freedom Minute update!
Recent studies show that around 50% of Canadian teens stare at their phones for at least 2 hours a day. 45% of survey respondents feel cell phone companies aren't doing enough about it.
Now this could be terrible. The zombie uprising.
However, this may not actually turn out to be a bad thing.
What if people are finally breaking free from the bread and circuses. There used to be a major problem with people staring at newspapers for hours a day. Television as well. Now it's their phones which includes the internet, history's greatest tool of education!
Hollywood is losing massive viewership. Mainstream media is losing massive viewership. Sports channels and franchises like the NFL are losing massive public support and demand. This is the bread and circuses. That which brought down Rome.
While people are distracted from the chaos around them, they stay apathetic. But regardless of how right or wrong some of those rising up today are, they're mad because the distraction mechanisms aren't working anymore. The bread and circuses have failed.
So if we spread information around and promote truth and education online, we can truly impact these kids staring at their phones all day. They can surely learn more from doing so than going to public schools.
Let's make sure to mould this situation into positive results!
No different anywhere else in the world!
No Josh - it's not a good thing - EMF is dangerous - a carcinogen . What's the point in of waking up - if you just discover - you have cancer.
its an informative info...
thanks for sharing dear...
I think almost all countries are experiencing the same thing, they spend more time looking at hp than others
I know that Canadians people is the good and friendly and cooperative
im glad that my little sister goes out in the wood to build treehouses and stuff instead of sitting at home all day
wonder how this was estimated... sometimes I feel like it is more than that.
Competition for entertainment is through the roof thanks to technology. I think there are more people doing good things, rather than bad things with it.
mobile phones will be of great use to anyone if using positively, but mobile phones can also harm the nation's generation because of the few negative things, as we see today almost every kids and teenagers are busy with games and others provided on smartphones, making them difficult have time to learn.
Upvoted and resteemed...
I did not own a cellphone until I was 18 back in 2005.
I might apply the same to my children, which is much easier said than done :)
The issue is 45% of respondents don't realize they're shit parents and expect everybody but themselves to look after there kids. This is why Canada will be the first country with guaranteed income people will be begging for it. We got more sheep than shepherds.
