It has been several years since fingers are pointed towards palm oil, because it is bad for health. But the same harmful effects could also be attributed to a very popular oil, which is coconut oil and it is regularly praised for its benefits. The new guidelines of the American Association of Cardiology (AHA) says that, coconut oil, which is very rich in saturated fats, can be as bad for health as palm oil.
Replace coconut oil with olive oil or nut oil
After cross-examining 7 existing clinical studies on the subject, AHA scientists found that there were "no measurable positive effects" in consuming coconut oil. The latter having "increased the level of LDL cholesterol in the seven clinical trials, and significantly in six. An increase equivalent to that seen in the consumption of "butter, beef fat and palm oil. In view of these findings, the AHA strongly discourages coconut oil and recommends consumers to turn to monounsaturated vegetable oils such as olive, almond or avocado oils and to polyunsaturated oils such as Than sunflower, grape seed or nut oils. If coconut oil is to be banned from our kitchens, it can remain in place in our bathrooms, as confirmed by Franck Sachs, the main author of the report: "You can put it on your body, but Not IN your body. "
The Harvard researcher ended by also breaking a legend that cheese, because of the fermentation process, would be a separate category: "No study considered confirms the hypothesis that fermentation creates nutrients that counterbalance the effects Harmful fats saturated with cheese. "New recommendations prompting us to reconsider how we feed ourselves and look for healthy alternatives to preserve our health.

Harvard School of Public Health,"What is interesting about coconut oil is that it also gives "good" HDL cholesterol a boost. Fat in the diet, whether it's saturated or unsaturated, tends to nudge HDL levels up, but coconut oil seems to be especially potent at doing so."
We also know that coconut oil has remarkable effects upon Alzheimer's patients and people with epilepsy.https://www.charliefoundation.org/ketogenic-therapy/therapies-3/alzheimer-s. It is important when sharing information that you make certain it is correct and not just a half truth or a complete fabrication. Coconut oil is saving the lives of many obese people and diabetics. Of course using coconut oil or any fat, in large amounts, while consuming sugars, starches , and other high glycemic foods will cause the body to store fat and have harmful excess glucose in the brain.
Saturated fat is divided into various types, based on the number of carbon atoms in the molecule, and about half of the saturated fat in coconut oil is the 12-carbon variety, called lauric acid. That is a higher percentage than in most other oils, and is probably responsible for the unusual HDL effects of coconut oil. But plant-based oils are more than just fats. They contain many antioxidants and other substances, so their overall effects on health can't be predicted just by the changes in LDL and HDL. http://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/coconut-oil
you might be right at all of your points but this is the latest research which says that coconut oil is not good for your health...
I didn't know coconut oil was that bad for you in food. I just use it everyday in place of shampoo in my hair. It definitely helps strength and restore the essential oils in your hair that are normally stripped when you use shampoo.
well as i quoted in the article "You can put it on your body, but Not IN your body. "
