So in Ireland a guy was sent home on Monday 19th June from work for wearing shorts. While he was driving to work he asked on twitter "If women can wear skirts/dresses at work can I wear smart shorts like so?"
He was sent home and after a while he returned back to work wearing a dress. Later the employer informed that men would be allowed to wear 2/4 length smart shorts.
I'd like to hear your opinion on the matter.
Below is the story from twitter

Honestly, I think this guy went to some extreme lengths just to get to wear shorts. I wouldn't sacrifice my dignity for more dress code options. I'm sure he was informed of the dress code at his place of employment when he took the job. He should have resigned if he didn't like the rules.
I completely agree with you. Is not about dignity, anyone can wear what they want however everyone should be respecting the dress code when at employment same applies to women.
