Bangladesh and Indonesia signed five agreements with two memorandums of understanding. These agreements were signed for improving bilateral relations, increasing trade and investment and enhancing cooperation in different sectors of the two countries.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indonesian President Joko Vidodara were present during the signing of the agreement at the Prime Minister's Office at 10:30 am on Sunday. Prior to this, a bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and President Joko Widodo was held in this office.
After the meeting, the two countries have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries, agreement on arranging regular meetings between the Foreign Ministries of both the countries, the joint agreement on the issue of fisheries and the development of infrastructure in the Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal (LNG) terminal.
