No way. it's not the end of Steemit. Unfortunately, many new users haven't been powering up and are just selling their earned coins on the market and taking whatever they get for it. This is driving the price down. For many of the seasoned vets, this is a buy opportunity! I wish I knew what I know now and bought/powered up as much as I could when it was 2 cents. We will see $10 a coin before the end of 2018. Mark it down.

Although I am new here I am to holding what I have earned so far because I can see the potential of higher price tag per steem sooner. Steem is different than other crypto currencies. That's why I have a hope.

I would personally power up as much as I could. Here is a great article on why you should power up. Also, if you decide to power up use the internal market to buy steem with your sbd as there are no transaction fees.
