There are three sub-districts in both Aceh Besar and Banda Aceh. We hope that people in these six sub-districts, if they hear Tsunam sirens, don't panic and worry. Still doing activities as usual, he said.

He said, the 26th of each month was deliberately chosen as a day to sound a tsunami siren to commemorate the devastating events of Aceh triggered by an earthquake measuring 9.3 on the Richter scale, and followed by the tsunami on December 26, 2004.

The purpose of this activity, so that our society is more sensitive or responsive to disaster cues coming, said Dadek.
