Yesterday the Israeli military began with the demolition of another Palestinian settlement.
In the village called Sur Baher, at least 16 buildings have been completely cleared and razed to the ground.
The town is located in the strategically important West Bank and it is likely that further evictions are expected.
Despite international criticism, an estimated 100 people lost their homes. The Israeli government said it was a precautionary measure, ending the seven-year-long lawsuit with the complete demolition of the homes. Sur Baher is near an Israeli spear plant and the Israels government fears terrorist attacks.
Critics see the procedure as a further escalation by the government of Isreal and an illegal approach, as the houses would neither constitute a security risk nor have been established illegally.
