AMD Ryzen processors haven't even been released yet, and they're already breaking world records.
The flagship Ryzen 7 processor 1800X was overclocked to 5.2Ghz across all 8 cores using Liq nitrogen cooling at -200'C. The chip was running at 1.875 Volts.
The heavily overclocked chip was benchmarked on the popular benchmarking software 'Cinebench'.
The chip scored 2449 cb at these speeds, breaking the previous world record by an 8-core processor which was 2410 cb.
