The Tomorrowland festival sold out in 1 hour, after the general sale of tickets around the world on Saturday, February 3
The massive Belgian festival, which last year expanded its capacity to almost 400,000 on its two weekends, has a history of rapid exhaustion. All this is not surprising given the international status of the festival, which was dismantled as the "biggest social networking event in the world" last year.
Tickets for this year's festival, which runs for two weekends in July, went on sale worldwide at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3 and the pre-sale tickets sold out quickly before that.
The first weekend of the festival will take place between Friday 20 and Sunday 22 July, while the second will take place the following week from Friday 27 to Sunday 29.
Tomorrowland 2018 promises to be the biggest based on its gigantic line up. Hosts on the stage include STMPD RCRDS by Martin Garrix, KNTXT techno concept by Charlotte De Witte and Pryda Arena by Eric Prydz. More names recently added to the project include Carl Cox, Ben Klock b2b, Marcel Dettmann, Nervo, Underworld (Live), Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Hardwell, and many others.
