South Korean President's spokesman said the Purgery Atomic Research Center will be closed publicly. South Korea and US experts will be invited to visit the center.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and South Korean President Mon J-In met on Friday in a historic meeting. The meeting was held at the Peace House in Panamunjam, a border village in South Korea.
After a two-point meeting between the two Korean leaders, they announced the end of the 68-year war in joint declarations and the Korean Peninsula to be free of nuclear weapons.
After the meeting of the two leaders, information came from South Korea about closure of the North Korean nuclear test center. However, no such comment has been found regarding North Korea.
South Korean president Yun Yang-chan said Kim Jong-un said that he will close his country's nuclear test center in May.
Yun Yang-chan also said the North Korean leader said that he would soon invite South Korea and US experts to his country to apprise the international community of the process of closure of the nuclear test center.
Meanwhile, US president Donald Trump said he can sit in a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un within the next three or four weeks.
