Early in September of this year, Indian supreme court declared the ban on the entry of menstruating women into temples illegal. Protesters began blocking these women from entering temples. They violently clashed with the police and damaged nearby properties; resulting in the arrest of over 2,000 people. Indian supreme court will will hear a review petition on the ban November 13; Temple will re-open on the 17th.
Demonstrations outside the Argentinian Parliament were reported. Protests became violent after responses of agression and escalated violence were used against the protesters. Demonstrations were held due to social spending cuts in the 2019 budget and a quality of life in Decline since President Macri's taking office in 2015; Basic food supplies have been in a downward spiral, leaving many families in a dismal poverty situation.
There have been an increasing reports in a new DDoS attack with a new botnet entitled "DemonBot." This system targets servers with security flaws in Hadoop installations; and compromises them with known exploits. The alarming factor is that it has grown rather quickly over the weekend;, thus suggesting a search method similar to the Mirai botnet. Finally, DemonBot utilizes unauthenticated remote code execution in YARN (Yet another resource allocator) to deliver their payloads, if YARN is not configured properly.
Ford Motor Company also issued a recall of 1.46 million Ford Focus models in the 2012-2018 manufacturing period. They have located a defect in the cars' fuel system, which causes the automobiles to randomly stall. Ford has advised vehicle owners to maintain a 50% fuel level to mitigate the issue until it is fixed.
In Quebec, the Premier has introduce a freeze on wage increases for those who work in the medical field. This is due to results in a new study as well as numerous rounds of negotiations. This new study however has not been authorized Legault on the wage differences between Quebec and Ontario medical staff. Increases will not be given and will reside in a trust fund, until more studies take place and negotiations reach an end goal.
And last, Columbia's fracking legislation is under review. The Columbian Petroleum Engineers Associateion presented documentation hoping to abolish the current fracking ban that is held in place by Columbia. According gto this document, the three main reasons they have presented to remove the ban are that the country has more than enough resources to alleviate current energy poverty, exploration to new methods of oil extracting will be economically beneficial in the long term, and that without fracking, the country does not have enough energy resources to provide for its citizens.
