The Arab League programmed Israel not to cross the "red line" in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the holy city of Jerusalem. The Arab League declared, if Israel crossed the line, then Israel has been searching for trouble with all Arab and Muslim countries.
"The Israeli government is playing with fire and is risking a major crisis with the Arab and Islamic world," Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit said in a statement, as quoted by Russia Today.
"Jerusalem is a red line that Muslims and Arabs will not allow to pass, and what happens today is an attempt to impose a new reality in the holy city," he continued.
He also called on Israel not to deepen the conflict and the international community to oblige the Israeli government to maintain the status quo in the region.
"Because of its current policy of" hurting the feeling "of the entire Muslim world, not only the Palestinians," he said.
Meanwhile, Israel has previously said it will not remove a metal detector in pairs at the al-Aqsa Mosque. Installation of this metal detector is the trigger of bloody clashes with Palestinians.
"The metal detector will still be installed. Killers we will never see to look for the killers If people do not want to enter the mosque, so let them not enter the mosque," said Minister of Regional Development of Israel, Tzachi Hanegbi.
