It is expected that tourism in France will return to growth this year after the weakness of last year.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Laudrian said his country expects the number of foreign tourists this year to reach between 88 million and 89 million, adding that it would be a significant rise and a new record.
"The preliminary results for 2017 are very encouraging," Ludrian said during his visit to the city of Giverny in Normandy.
Tourism in France was affected last year by the terrorist attacks in Paris and Nice.
Despite hosting last year's Champions League, the number of foreign tourists fell to 82.6 million, compared with 84.5 million in the year 2015.
The tourism sector contributes more than 7% of the French GDP.
Hope Paris stay safe and happy:)
