Following Donald Trump's statement about US recognition of Al Quods as the capital of the state of Israel, several countries immediately shared their reactions:
La France :
Emmanuel Macron, visiting Algiers, expressed his total disagreement with the announcement that Trump made unilaterally and that France did not support. He added that the fate of Al Quods must remain a matter to be settled between Israelis and Palestinians. He also called on all parties to restrain by avoiding the use of violence.
UN:
The UN secretary-general deplored Donald Trump's decision and said there could be no alternative to the two-state solution. He added that he will do his utmost to push the Palestinian and Israeli leaders back to the negotiating table.
Palestine:
The Palestinian president announced that the decision made by Trump nullified all chances of reaching a solution between the two states.
Egypt :
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry has announced its refusal of Donald Trump's decision as stubborn. The ministry has warned of the negative impact of this decision.
The foreign ministries of Tunisia, Turkey and Jordan condemned this decision and said it undermined the chances for peace in the Middle East, calling on states not to rush to emulate the US.
At this point, I am not sure who pisses me off more with this stupidity - Bibi or Trump. Two peas in a pod.
As an Israeli supporting a peaceful two state, three state, whatever state solution - this angers me. There is literally NO REASON to move the embassy from its current location. Stupid politicians fucking everything up for us people trying to live her in peace with the shitty weather and all.
