We all should care when that person is influential, is working to split the community over his personal vendettas and thinks that the fact he is influential gets him a free pass for all the shit he says and does.
When the founder of one of the biggest Steem dapps threatens to shut down the HIVE blockchain via a court order and is threatening to rape and kill people i think folks would be interested in that.
