Republican swamp monsters who pretend to be fiscal conservatives - SHAME, SHAME, SHAME !!!

in #news7 years ago (edited)

These are the Republican Senators who play it so fast and loose with out money that they voted for the $1.3 trillion omnibus bill (the second biggest ever in American history) before they had read it.

They should have read it, understood it, and shared the details with their constituents to gather feedback before voting on it.

All of these senators need to be kicked out of the Senate (and the Republican party). It makes me very sad to say that because the list includes Tim Scott and Marco Rubio who are two of my favorite Senators. But if they waste our money like this - they need to go.

100% agree. Time to put an end to this bullsh*t duopoly. We need some "republicans" not "Republicans". Long live Trump!

Trump needs to dig around that Oval office and find out where they have hidden the veto pen - and then start using it - often.

I hate to say it, but as a Republican, I’m going to have to agree with you on this one Oz. Unfortunately, I think the only way to fix this, is to finally get congressional term limits implemented. The bad news is, that requires those sitting in the seats to vote themselves out of a job. Extremely hard to do.

We need to get it done the primary level.

Any Senator or Congressman that has served more then 10 years - need to be replaced by someone else in the primary. If that fails, then in the election. But making it clear to people that have served 10 years, they will not have your support - will encourage them to retire anyway.

Why do the monster bills have so little reading time? The best thing for any concerned citizen to do is download the .pdf monster bill and start searching. The pdf search is easy to use and pulls up every instance of word or phrase etc. When something suspicious is discovered - Broadcast it!

Good idea. I am sure we will learn more in the coming weeks and not in a good way.

Don't forget the House members either. Paul Ryan is from Wisconsin, (my state), and is really disappointing these days. Rumor is he's going to step down as speaker soon. He should.

The good thing about the House is they have to stand for re-election every 2 years. So lots of opportunity to hold them to account - but we need to do it. Either in the primaries or the election itself.

I do not know what the deal is with Paul Ryan. I used to really like him, but these days he just leaves me plain confused.

I agree with you ... what a sad reality

It is. Very sad.

we have to keep going into debt to keep the debt base system going

and suddenly, one day the piper will have to be paid.

And these swamp monster will not be reaching into their own pocket to pay it.

Accountability must be set on the front line...

I agree - we see so little accountability from the swamp.

It is going to be up to the voters in primaries and elections to impose accountability on these swamp monsters.
