TL;DR: Fed Up and Forking: Rival EOS Blockchains Are Becoming a Reality.

in #news6 years ago

As EOS is currently struggling with block producer issues, along with past heated discussions, a number of EOS competitors have emerged, like Telos, ONO, WAX, Force, Evolution OS and Worbil, to name a few. Telos, a fork of EOSIO open protocol, is considered though the most forceful and the one with the most support. It's white paper was written recently by Douglas Horn and addresses/changes two of the major concerns that trouble EOS. Firstly, they aim to reduce the power of whales (largest token holders) and secondly, make a launch with a more stable and concrete governance system, which entails direct execution on the blockchain.

The only one of the projects listed that will fruit will probably be Telos and that is because it is not going to try rival but co-operate on it. You are quoting from Coindesk after all. It is not known for its objective (cough) views on EOS. The market tickers and the complete absence of stories being the major clue.
