I can think of much worse:
Bob Barr
Wayne Allyn Root
Austin Petersen
Augustus Invictus (real name: Austin Gillespie)
Christopher Cantwell
Fortunately, Barr, Root and Petersen crawled back to the sinking ship on fire that is the GOP, while we're still stuck with Invictus and Cantwell.
I would include Merissa Hamilton, Kevin McCormick, Steve Kerbel and some select others into that pile, but honestly, they're still more principled than the above listed, even though all but one are no longer Libertarian.
Yeah, none of those guys are great. But I still prefer most (not all) of them to Weld, if for no other reason than they didn't say anything nice about Hillary Clinton. She is so transparently thuggish that I just can't trust anyone who endorses her.
And really? Austin peterson? I mean, he had the eager wet behind the ears thing going on in the last cycle, but his message seemed more or less on point to me.
Well, everything he said in 2015 and 2016 surrounding the presidential race, especially the "pyramid of pussy" remarks and degrading comments toward women, can and will be used against him.
If it isn't by anyone in the incredibly crowded Republican primary, Democratic incumbent Claire McCaskill sure as hell will.
His comments makes him the second coming of McCaskill's 2012 opponent Todd Akin, meaning if he somehow wins the Republican primary by a thin margin, he's going to get publicly embarrassed much worse than his pathetic performance in his pursuit of the Libertarian Party presidential nomination, which I'm glad he lost, because he probably would've had a shitty running mate anyway.
I'm not aware of those comments. I'd have to see them in context to make a judgment about them. I'm basically just going off of his debate performance. Honestly, I was kind of hoping McAfee would take it.

Also, fuck Austin and his Trump bootlicking.
