The Gem Diamonds, a British mining company, announced today that it has recently dug up a 910-carat diamond in Lesotho, which is already considered one of the five largest discovered diamonds.

Diamond, dug out of a very fertile Letseng mine, could cost about 33 million euros, analyst Ben Davis of the investment company Liberium Capital said.
"Since Jim Diamond acquired the rights to the Letseng 2006 mine, the company has dug up some of the world's biggest and most interesting diamonds," said Clifford Elfik, managing director.

According to him, the diamond is extraordinary clean and so far the largest diamond was excavated from the mine in Lesotho, the African country that is one of the poorest in the world.

The largest diamond in the world is the Kulinan with 3,106 cards, found in 1905 in South Africa.

Aun Lesotho es un país áfricano considerado uno de los más pobres del sur de África, aun le faltan muchas cosas que descubrir en cuanto a sus recursos naturales. Saludos
