Hitman's Definitive Edition is a collection of episodes that previously came loose. Furthermore, the game contains new outfits, all missions from the Game of the Year Edition and three bonus missions that take place in Sapienza and Marrakesh.
Io Interactive acquired Hitman's rights last year, after the Danish studio bought itself out from publisher Square Enix. The Danish developer reports a release date of 15 May on his website, but a press release sent to Tweakers mentions 17 May as the release date.
Last year, Io Interactive released Hitman's first episode for free. That was the first action of the company as an independent studio. Now the developer has entered into a global distribution agreement with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to publish the entire game. A price has not yet been published.
